Dead plants are valuable, too

I remember over 10 years ago, going with my dad on a delivery. But this was no ordinary delivery: the client had specially ordered dead conifers. So far as they were concerned, the deader the better – and they were just fine with paying live prices. It turns out they needed them for a forest in a James Bond movie – they painted them to be the right colour. And I got a free tour around Shepperton studios out of it.
